To ensure the user who intends to exercise his/her rights is, in fact, the owner of the personal data, we may request documents or other information to confirm the user identification in order to safeguard our rights and the rights of third parties. These measures take into account the nature of data, the context and purpose of data processing, the risks that a possible violation would generate for the user rights and freedom, and the standards currently used in the market by companies that are similar to ours.

Among the security measures adopted by Milvus, we highlight the following:

  • We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, so that data transmission between user devices and our servers use an encrypted system;
  • We keep records of everyone who has contact with our data.

Even if you adopt all measures to avoid security incidents, problems may occur a third party, for instance, in the case of a hacker or cracker attack, or due to a user sole fault, for example, when a user transfers personal data to a third party. Then, although we are, in general, responsible for the personal data we process, we have no responsibility in this exceptional situation, over which we have no control.

In any case, in any type of security incident that could generate relevant risk or damage to any of our users, we will communicate those affected and the National Data Protection Authority about what happened, according to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation

7. Claim to a control authority

Without prejudice to any other means of administrative or legal recourse, holders of personal data who feel they, have been harmed, may file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority.

The present version of this Privacy Policy was last updated on September 16, 2021.

We reserve the right to after these rules at any time, especially to adapt them to any changes made to our website, when providing new functionalities or removing or altering current resources.
